I’ve used several flavors from this brand, and this one is easily my favorite. The strawberry flavor is rich and doesn’t taste artificial.
I’ve mostly been adding it to cake mix and frosting to give desserts a stronger strawberry flavor. I’ve also put a few drops in soda, and it gives it a different taste without adding calories.
The bottle is larger than I expected, so it should last a long time even with regular use. Overall, I’m really happy with it and will definitely keep this flavor on hand. Also, made in the USA!
This is the boost my strawberry-flavored items occasionally need. Smoothie not quite fruity enough despite all that fruit? I add a little of this. It's also great for adding to items when you don't need color or need a different texture than a real strawberry would impart. Easy to use and handy to keep on hand. Works great for homemade sodas, frostings, drinks, cakes, as well!
I am very pleased with this brand of extracts as a whole and this strawberry extract fits right in. The flavor is amazing, it is very pure strawberry flavor without any artificial or stale strawberry aftertaste. Excellent for many uses but I find that this is my go to brand of extracts for baking. Overall good concentration - definitely not watered down. Good value for the price as the reliability is outstanding.
I have several of these Harvest Moon Delights Organic Flavorings and each one is better than the last. The one I just received is strawberry and the aroma when you open the bottle is mouth watering. It smells just like ripe, juicy strawberries. I made strawberry waffles for breakfast this morning with little slices of strawberries in the batter. It didn’t have quite enough flavor and I remembered I had this bottle of strawberry extract. I put about a teaspoon of it in the batter and my goodness…did it kick up the flavor! I’m a big fan of these extracts and the fact they are organic.
It’s quite expensive but worth it since it doesn’t use artificial dyes. The strawberry flavor comes through. I love all Harvest Moon extract. Love that it’s organic and love that it’s stored in a glass bottle. Great quality and taste.
I use a lot of extracts for ice cream and flavored coffee creams, and strawberry is one flavor that is quite popular with my family, so I was excited to try this Harvest Moon Delights strawberry extract.
In the bottle, this extract as a distinct fresh sweet berry aroma. It is a golden amber color and when mixed with a bit of cream, there is definitely the delicate flavor of fresh berry. Even without added sugar, it has a lovely true strawberry flavor.
I happen to enjoy strawberry flavoring in coffee (add some chocolate syrup and it's absolutely decadent!) Three drops of this extract were enough in 12 oz to give a mellow strawberry note that sat on top of the strong coffee flavor.
I'm looking forward to strawberry ice cream this summer, and with a 2 oz bottle there is plenty for that and more!
This Organic Strawberry Extract by Harvest Moon Delights is hands down the best Strawberry flavoring I’ve ever used for baking and homemade treats! The 2 oz bottle is the perfect size, and the water-soluble formula mixes effortlessly into my ice cream test batter, without any weird aftertaste. It smells and tastes like real strawberries, and made my ice creme bright, sweet, and natural. It is pure organic extract with no artificial junk added. I’ve also used it in a quick strawberry lemonade mix and tasted pretty good. A little goes a long way, and the dropper cap makes it easy to measure accurately every time. I think price is fair for this bottle since a little does go a long way and came package well and no leakage or anything.

This is a bottle of organic strawberry essence made in the USA with quality ingredients. It smells amazing and has a nice color to it. It tastes delicious and you don't need very much in your creation for a good taste. That is exciting because that means I can make even more things with this. The bottle is designed well and does not leak and it is easy to pour out for use. At a price around $15 this is a good value. It is the best strawberry essence I have ever used and I will continue to use it. I am super pleased with it.
What else is there to say? This is probably the best strawberry extract I've ever tried. It smells and tastes like real strawberries, without the excessive sweetness or vaguely medicinal aftertastes you often get with lower-quality extracts. The ingredients are all natural and organic, though I should mention that it is alcohol-based, which could be a sticking point for some. I personally prefer it, especially for baking, but opinions may vary.
The only other thing I wanted to mention is that this is not a "clear" extract. It's a dark reddish-brown liquid, similar to vanilla extract in appearance. Which means that, depending on what you add it to and how much you use, it could change the color of the end product. For my first test, I added 1/4 tsp to a small batch of vanilla buttercream frosting, and while the flavor was absolutely fantastic, the frosting itself turned out slightly off-white. In the future, I'll probably just embrace it and add a few drops of red food coloring to really drive home the fact that it's strawberry flavored.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with this product. It is a little pricier than some of the alternatives, but this is definitely a case of getting what you pay for.

This is a clean tasting flavor. I ordered it to use in a recipe for stevia drops I make myself. I can’t eat sugar and was using purchased stevia drops in my coffee everyday. I enjoy them but at $13.99 per bottle it was pricey. My drops are yummy. The strawberry tastes mild like juice from a bowl of fresh strawberries. It smells great too. I just finished my 1st cup of coffee today and it was delicious. I also put a few drops into my Diet Coke and enjoyed it immensely!

It gives good flavor but no sweetness. Also hard to adjust the amount so it requires some trial and error. I added it to yogurt and some allulose based sweetener to turn it into fruit flavored sweet yogurt and it worked. Happy with the purchase but it may not be good value for money
Excellent product. Especially since it's organic. I appreciate companies willing to make organic products. And strawberries are on of the "dirtiest" foods that retain a lot of the pesticide chemicals sprayed on them if they are not organic. This tastes deliciously like strawberry. I made strawberry whipped cream and also pretty frequently use a drop of it in sparkling mineral water for a homemade strawberry drink like a la croix.
I make a lot of strawberry yoghurt smoothies, using fresh strawberries when they are in season and frozen strawberries for the rest of the year. For some reason, the frozen strawberries never have a strawberry flavor that's strong enough to hold up against the acidity of the yoghurt. Adding a sweetener helps, but I'm trying to cut down on those.
I wanted to try this organic strawberry extract to see if it would help to increase the strawberry aroma of my smoothies without adding sugar. At first, I used a teaspoon of the extract in a 2-cup smoothie. This didn't seem to make any difference in the smoothie's flavor. Doubling the concentration still didn't do much. Eventually, it took a whole tablespoon for the strawberry flavor to come through. However, at that point, I could also detect a distinct alcoholic aftertaste.
I don't think this extract is the best ingredient for my use case. I expect it works better for cakes and pastries, where some of the alcohol is cooked off during baking. Even if it wasn't for the alcoholic aftertaste, I probably wouldn't continue using this extract for my smoothies. Because the extract is fairly weak, I would get only four servings from the $15 bottle, and this would make for some very expensive smoothies.
