Best Peppermint extract I have ever used! I've been a professional baker for 35+ years, so have tried ALOT of brands. This Harvest Moon ORGANIC extract elevated my recipes to epic yumminess!
This extract is perfect for making homemade copycat Girl Scout thin mint cookies and mint melts aways ! I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this brand and I was not disappointed. Some extracts can taste fake or soapy but this peppermint extract was perfect and it didn’t bake out and lose its flavor. (It also wasn’t overpowering in my cookies; I used just what the recipe called for and it was delicious.) I love that it is organic, has zero sugar, and is made in the USA. I feel that this product is a good value and worth the price, since it can be used to make ice cream, cookies, and candy. I know that this is one extract that will not just sit in my cabinet but will definitely be used up!
Have read of so many used for peppermint extract. Really was curious on how many things I read about using it for bug and pest uses. Thought this would be a great bottle to try. I love this stuff. It was awesome during the winter months. My daughter works at Starbucks and she brought me some stuff home that they use at Starbucks and I like this better it’s potent. It’s not like a syrup, but it made the best peppermint mocha ever.

I had a recipe I wanted to make for Christmas, and it called for just 1/8 tsp. of peppermint extract for the 1-1/2 pounds of chocolate. I couldn't find any in the stores, but found this online. I was thrilled it was organic. Just that 1/8 tsp. made the peppermint bark I made taste great! No artificial or chemical taste like some store-bought extracts. I will not only make a bigger batch next time, I will seek out recipes to use peppermint extract! I am a forever customer!

Not all peppermint extracts are created equal! This organic peppermint extract is far and away the best I have ever tried ( and I’ve done A LOT of baking!). The flavor is pure, no chemical taste like you get with artificial flavors. And it’s intense without being overpowering. A little goes a long way so you’ll never want to use anything else. I’ve tried it in cookies, cake and ice cream and it works beautifully for all. Now I want to try all their other flavors as I start to bake for the holidays!
