I discovered Harvest Moon Delights through an Amazon search looking for a cotton candy extract to use for my small business. I make homemade ice cream and my goddaughter requested cotton candy ice cream. I thought the price for the cotton candy extract was a little steep but figured it would be a “one and done”. Little did I know that I would be so blown away by the flavor that I would end up ordering 50 bottles and be asked to put on a waitlist for the gallon size! The flavor is spot-on and the cotton candy ice cream has quickly catapulted to my top seller. When I was playing around with my pistachio recipe, I was using an almond extract and it made my pistachio ice cream taste too almond forward so I bought a bottle of her pistachio extract and it is quickly becoming another top seller. It is fantastic, mimicking the pistachio without tasting fake or leaving a bad aftertaste. Great flavor, a little bit goes along way!I am a baker and I get so many compliments on my cotton candy cakes, because of this extract! I have tried others but nothing has tasted as good at this one. Smells incredible and great quality. I typically can get about 4 cake batches out of one bottle.
Harvest moon delights cotton candy extract has a good flavor. I made rice crispy treats and added two cap fulls of the cotton candy extract to the marshmallows after melting, and before adding the cereal . And stirred , my treats came out perfect, with lovely cotton candy flavor. It was a huge hit with my family they love cotton candy. The extract is made with no artifical colors or sugars, a little goes a long ways. It is water soluble and heat stable and a product of the USA, I would purchase again.

The smell of this extract is amazing!! I used it to make a birthday cake creamer for a twist of flavor and it came out perfectly!! That makes the cost worth it and it was not expensive! The balance of concentration of cotton candy flavor will add to your beverage OR baking recipe!!

I used this cotton candy extract in homemade frosting for cupcakes. It seriously tastes just like cotton candy, not sure how they did it. It was a hit with the kids! Will be trying it in ice cream next :)

This cotton candy extract is amazing my friend loves the taste of cotton candy but not all the over load of sugar so this product is perfect. I’m an at home baker and I can whip up a few desserts from scratch and she wanted cotton candy cheesecake and she loved it I also made cookies outta the extract and they were amazing. A little goes a long way in cookie making next I’m definitely gonna have to try a cake. And the price for the size was amazing I would have never thought of cotton candy extract. Thanks to the seller definitely gonna be buying more extract in the future. And you can definitely smell it when you open the lid omg.
This has such a great flavor and it’s so easy to use. Pretty much the same as you would use any kind of extract. But I’m very impressed by these.

This stuff is literally AMAZING. where I live it’s extremely hard to come by anything cotton candy flavored. Except cotton candy. I was over the moon when I scored this. A little goes a very long ways. I’ve been putting it in vanilla bean ice cream (try it 😉), I made cotton candy fudge, and drinks. I still have almost a full bottle. I just wish it had a dropper because pouring from the top of the bottle causes a little mess.
I give it five stars for the worst aftertast. Was using it in ice cream. I even looked to see if I could return it due being so bad.( I never return food, But I would have on this one) But you can't.. Does not even taste like cotton candy .
This is my first time using cotton candy flavoring, and this met my expectations. Opening the dark glass bottle and smelling the product for the first time was a yummy welcome! The liquid is clear and easy to pour in my mixing bowl. I tried this flavoring with a bag of sugar cookie mix. I stuck with the recommended amount of 1 teaspoon for the 2 dozen cookies I was preparing. The result was quite good! I could smell the cotton candy and once the cookies cooled, the sugary flavor intensified within the dense, buttery cookie. My palette detected no chemical or alcohol aftertaste. I can't wait to try this flavoring with a sheet cake.

My daughter has a love of cotton candy flavor right now but doesn't love actual cotton candy (weird right?). We used this to flavor icing for cupcakes and it was wonderful! The scent instantly brings up memories of amusement parks or the fairgrounds.We used 1.5 tsp to a container of premade frosting. I can't wait to use it in homemade icing though. She was just so impatient to use it! It tasted great, not overpowering at all.We have also used a bit to flavor lemonade but since we were adjusting to taste, I don't know the exact measurements for our pitcher. It was very delightful though!Our next experiment will be attempting to make a shaved ice syrup! Needless to say, we love this and will always be looking for the next item to experiment with this! I think the syrup would also be good in some mixed drinks!
I like to make ice cream in my Ninja Cremi a lot and this flavoring is such a game changer. It tastes great and the flavor is as described, "cotton candy". I love using the flavoring in all the recipes I make. This product is worth the purchase and will help you create some delicious desserts. Highly Recommend!
I know it doesn't say a dropper is included - but I got this without having had the flavor before and it made me unable to use it for a bit until I finished up another one of my extracts and could pilfer that dropper. I feel like that's got to be a tiny cost that makes it worth sending a new one with every flavoring.The flavor itself tastes just like cotton candy... which is weird as that's not even really a flavor is it? It's more of an experience. Yet when you put this into a drink you immediately think of cotton candy. So a very well done job on this flavor. It's fun and whimsical.
I tried this out in homemade Rice Krispie treats, which are good with almost anything mixed in. By itself, this tastes very strongly of alcohol. But mixed in with melted marshmallows, it does have a lovely cotton candy taste, which itself seems to me to have overtones of food dyes in it. It imitates that taste quite well. Yep, considering that upon analysis cotton candy itself tastes rather artificial to me, I’m going to have to give this five stars instead of four, because it’s supposed to taste just like cotton candy— and it does.
Imagine being a kid and enjoying the flavor of cotton candy at the fair...now imagine being an adult and enjoying the flavor of cotton candy anytime you want in your own home! You could add this liquid flavoring to frosting, to cookie dough, who knows, maybe add it to brownies? It would enhance a baked good for a kid's birthday party, that's for sure.
The cotton candy extract came with no leaks or oozing. There is an immediate scent when opening the bottle- that circus/county fair-style scent that reminds me of summer traditions. I didn't get any strong alcohol scent or taste. Cotton candy is a delicate scent, so it works best in recipes where it doesn't need to compete with other ingredients. I think this does a good job of capturing that nostalgic scent/taste in an extract.
